People are a different part of creation than angels. People are made in the image of God, to be like him. People are destined to be children of God, as Jesus was the Son of God. Angels are servants of God, to do work he needs done. To God, people are and will be more important than angels. Angels can appreciate and admire God. People can love God.
People who have died are still themselves, as they are inside. Their character and ways of thinking, talking, feeling are the same. Each person is unique and never becomes anyone else or anything else.
